Vidtionary. Video dictionary
The idea for Vidtionary was conceived in Seoul, South Korea in 2006, at which time the project’s creator Donald Anderson was there teaching English. Storybooks Canada
You can read, download (text and audio) and listen to stories. You can also choose language (English, French, and the most widely spoken immigrant and refugee languages of Canada) and level (five levels).
It provides teachers with a guide to show how links can be made between the stories and Curricular Competencies by referencing universal themes and activities across grade levels and subject areas.
