in Washington D.C, the Newseum is an interactive museum that promotes
free expression and the five freedoms of the First Amendment to the
Constitution of the United States: religion, speech, press, assembly
and petition. It was open in 2008.

is a free online learning platform for teachers and students that
shows the Newseum's commitment to reach all who wish to better
understand these freedoms and their relationship to learning and
teaching history and civics.
It
provides free learning tools on media literacy, EDcollections, lesson
plans, activities, EDideas, and much more.
