Teaching Literature in English for Young Learners

1st International Conference: Teaching Literature in English for Young Learners. The conference will be held at the Facultat de Magisteri at the Universitat de València (Spain), on the 25-26 October 2012.

The Conference will devote special attention to the educational, social and practical dimensions of teaching literature in English today.

The organization encourages scholars, teachers or writers to submit proposals. Abstracts from 300 to 500 words should be sent to teachlit@uv.es before 20 June 2012. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed, and notification of acceptance will be sent before 20 July. Finally, papers accepted should be submitted by 5 September. Abstracts and full papers should be submitted electronically in MS Word and PDF format. They should be written in Times New Roman, 12 pt, double spaced, left justified. The recommended length for articles is 2,500 words. All conference papers will be published in a CD-Rom. A selection of papers will also appear as a volume in a prestigious international publication to be determine.

II Congreso Internacional sobre Bilingüismo en Centros Educativos

Algunos de los académicos mundialmente destacados en el campo de la investigación sobre bilingüismo han participado en el II Congreso Internacional sobre Bilingüismo en Centros Educativos que se celebró en Madrid, en  la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Campus de Vicálvaro) los días 20, 21 y 22 de octubre de 2011.

Podéis acceder a la página del Congreso http://www.cieb.es/ y, en espera de que se añadan los vídeos de esta edición, a los vídeos de la primera, en 2010,  que recogen conferencias, mesas y talleres de gran interés para el desarrollo del aprendizaje integrado de contenidos y lenguas y los programas bilingües.
