An Infographic Guide to Technology-facilitated Gender-based Violence (TFGBV)

Technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV) is an increasingly common issue affecting women and girls in many different ways. To help educators better understand this topic, a new infographic guide has been created. It uses simple, visual explanations to highlight what TFGBV looks like and why it matters in today’s digital world.

The guide includes 14 easy-to-read infographics that explore key ideas such as:

- the different forms TFGBV can take,

- how online and offline violence are connected,

- how TFGBV affects people differently depending on their identities and circumstances,

- what current data and research tell us,

- and how technology can be designed in safer, more ethical ways.

These infographics can be used in training sessions, classroom discussions, awareness campaigns, or any educational activity aimed at promoting safer digital environments. Each infographic comes with a short explanation that highlights its main points, making the material easy to understand and share.

This resource is ideal for teachers, school leaders, and anyone working with young people who wants to help build a more informed and respectful digital community.

Gender Parity in the Intelligent Age

The World Economic Forum's 2025 report, Gender Parity in the Intelligent Age, developed in collaboration with LinkedIn, examines the intersection of gender equality and the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) in the workforce. It highlights both the challenges and opportunities that AI presents for achieving gender parity.

Some of its key findings are:

Disproportionate impact on women: women are more likely to occupy roles susceptible to disruption by generative AI and less likely to benefit from AI-driven career advancements.

Underrepresentation in AI skills: despite a narrowing gender gap in AI skills across 74 of 75 economies between 2018 and 2025, women still constitute less than one-third of AI-skilled professionals.

Strategic imperative for inclusion: organizations that fail to integrate gender parity into their AI strategies risk missing out on a significant portion of talent, potentially reducing innovation and long-term competitiveness.

European Commission Actions for LGBTIQ equality

Many LGBTIQ people in the EU don't feel safe being open about their sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, and sex characteristics. They often feel threatened and are at risk of poverty and social exclusion. Many also don't feel safe reporting verbal abuse and physical violence to the police.

LGBTIQ people in the EU face discrimination, hatred, and harassment every day. This can harm their physical, mental, and emotional health. We need to work to protect their rights and safety.

On this website, you can find actions for LGBTIQ equality undertaken by the European Commission

Gender-ing English language classes across the globe: Practical lessons for teachers

Gender-ing English language classes across the globe: Practical lessons for teachers is an excellent resource for English language teachers who want to integrate gender topics into their teaching. The book is divided into two parts: the first part provides an overview of gender and language, and the second part presents 40 practical lessons that teachers can use in their classrooms.

The lessons in the book cover a wide range of topics, including gender and the workplace, gender and education, gender stereotypes, and gender (in)equality. The lessons are designed to be engaging and interactive, and they encourage students to think critically about gender issues.

A valuable tool for helping teachers to raise awareness of gender issues and to create more inclusive learning environments.
