60 unidades AICLE elaboradas por el profesorado. Junta de Andalucía

Seguro que ya conocéis las magníficas 130 secuencias didácticas AICLE, de las que ya hablamos en su día en este blog. Pues bien, a estos  recursos recopilados desde la Consejería de Educación, Cultura y Deporte (actualmente en la Plataforma de Plurilingüismo) de la Junta de Andalucía se añade la publicación de 60 unidades AICLE elaboradas por el profesorado que asistió a los cursos de formación sobre el enfoque metodológico AICLE en los Centros del profesorado de Andalucía.

Este banco de material está alojado en el Portal de Plurilingüismo de la Consejería de Educación, Cultura y Deporte para su aplicación directa en el aula o su adaptación en el contexto educativo de cada profesor de Áreas No Lingüísticas.

Zaption

Zaption is an interesting interactive video platform developed by a San Francisco based tech start-up. Quill

Quill is a web based application that provides personalized writing and grammar lessons. Students using Quill learn English grammar by writing sentences and proofreading passages.

Quill is free. They have created 150 lessons, covering Common Core topics for grades 1-8. Each lesson is approximately 10-15 minutes in length.

The World Cup: A Fair Game?

The 2014 FIFA World Cup will be the 20^th FIFA World Cup, an international men's football tournament that is scheduled to take place in Brazil from 12 June to 13 July 2014.

These activities by Oxfam Education will support pupils to use football to examine inequality between and within countries, explore footballers and other people who have taken action to make the world fairer, examine news around the World Cup, consider how making new rules in football could make the game fairer, and understand the causes, effects and solutions to inequality in Brazil.

There are independent activities linked to a variety of curriculum areas and support for pupils to make a 'World Cup Fairness Display' to show their learning to the rest of the school.

Recursos Educativos Abiertos para AICLE

Uno de los pasos más interesantes en la formación en línea del profesorado emprendidos a través de los cursos de INTEF ha consistido en una suerte de transparencia digital con respecto a toda la comunidad educativa, que permite compartir el trabajo desarrollado dentro del curso. En el caso de Uso de Recursos educativos para el aprendizaje integrado de contenidos y lenguas extranjeras AICLE, esta posibilidad sirve para conocer recursos útiles, ideas que pueden adaptarse a cada realidad como puntos de partida por desarrollar o a las propias personas que las sugieren.

El blog que agrupa estas aprovechables y diversas propuestas en el campo del AICLE muestra gran cantidad de recursos, muchos de ellos referidos al inglés, así como enlaces a los blogs de sus participantes.

Google ha creado Spell Up, una aplicación que permite practicar y mejorar el nivel de inglés. Está disponible para Chrome, para dispositivos móviles y ordenadores. Se basa en el juego con el objetivo de que el usuario realice diversas tareas (deletrear, pronunciar correctamente, etc.)

Wibbu

Aplicación pensada para hablantes de español que puede apoyar vuestro aprendizaje de inglés. Wibbu basa su método precisamente en los errores más comunes de los hablantes de esta lengua cuando aprenden inglés. La aplicación ha sido premiada pro el Programa Sirius de la UKTI.

Actualmente la aplicación puede descargarse de forma gratuita desde Apple Store y pronto será posible hacerlo desde Google Play.

My Mum's Birthday

Después del exitoso My Trip to London, que reseñamos en su día en este blog, nuestro compañero y colaborador múltiple con el CEFIRE Daniel Martínez Cremades ha publicado My Mum's Birthday.

Este nuevo libro, un relato infantil en un inglés sencillo, cuenta la historia de Óscar, un niño que quiere preparar una sorpresa el del del cumpleños de su mamá. El texto incluye actividades para reforzar la comprensión.
