World Poetry Day

World Poetry Day is celebrated on 21 March. It was declared by UNESCO in 1999 “with the aim of supporting linguistic diversity through poetic expression and increasing the opportunity for endangered languages to be heard”.

An Alphabet Game via @tistaramos

Open Educational Resource by EDIA Project- Cedec. Its author is Javier Ramos Sancha.

This project is part of a set of some projects designed to  cover all the learning standards of the Natural Science curriculum of Primary Education are published at the BOE (March 1st 2014). With this project you will be able to let your students be autonomous learners and guide them through their learning. 

The project is made  up of six different missions whose main topic is plants. There are activities to do individually, in pairs or in teams.

LyricsGaps. Improve your English through music

LyricsGaps is a fun method to learn and improve your English (and other languages) through music and typing in song lyrics. You can listen to songs and fill in the blanks or take some quizzes. For each song there are different levels: Karaoke, Beginner, Intermediate and Expert.

Video clips are embedded on the page to listen to the song and fill in the blanks at the same time. 

Quizzes can be printed out. Teachers can also create their own quizzes or customize the existing ones.

NASA Kids' Club

NASA Kids’ Club is a collection games, interactive activities, and images for students in Kindergarten through fourth grade. You will find games of various skill levels for children pre-K through grade 4. These games support national education standards in STEM.

Their games and interactive activities are arranged on five skill levels. The activities range from simple things like coloring pages and pattern recognition games to more difficult tasks like identifying planets based on clues provided in written and video form.
