Smithsonian TTribune

TeenTribune, TweenTribune, and TTJunior (hereinafter collectively referred to as TTribune)  is a free online educational service offered by the Smithsonian for use by K-12 grade Teachers and students. TTribune consists of daily news sites for kids, tweens, and teens, and includes text, photos, graphics, and audio and/or video materials prepared by the Smithsonian and others about current events, history, art, culture and science.

LingYourLanguage

LingYourLanguage is a collaborative effort to bring the world’s languages to a wider audience in an entertaining, engaging way. In this game you listen to a short snippet of someone speaking and then guess what language is being spoken. You can play alone or with a friend (mode Multiplayer).

The project began at a hostel in Prague, Czech Republic, where visitors began contributing their languages to the LingYourLanguage collection. It soon spread to family, friends, acquaintances, friends of friends, and so on, and links together people and cultures.

Literacy for CLIL

This repository was created as part of the Erasmus Plus project focused on developing literacy skills of students in primary grades when learning English. 

It includes two main parts-the literacy grid template with the explanations and 10 exemplary literacy units with some additional materials such as unit plans, teaching materials, video-taped lesson fragments and commentaries given by students and teachers. 

The initial set of 10 units was created specifically for grades 3, 4, and 5 by international teams of teachers from Poland, Slovenia, and Spain.
